Father’s Day

“Father’s Day
noun.
1. a day, usually the third Sunday in June, set aside in honor of fathers.”

It’s a celebratory time for most, but (in reality) not everyone is blessed with an earthy father that is actively present in their lives.

That’s where this song steps in. It’s written by the group Beasts of the Beat (based out of Highland Park, Detroit). These young men use their powerful words in art-form to express the importance of fatherhood, talk about their personal experiences, and share their thoughts on the matter.

We all might not have an earthly father, but we can ALL find refuge in our Heavenly Father. A Father who loves us unconditionally (Romans 8:38), will never abandon us (Deuteronomy 31:6), already knows our future (Jeremiah 29:11), and so much more. He adopts us into His loving family, calling Himself our friend, our Father, and our Savior.

Happy Father’s Day to ALL.
